DIPLOMA in ACCOUNTING

The Kasturi’s Diploma in Accounting is designed to meet the growing demand for trained personnel in Accounting at the supervisory and mid-management levels. The Kasturi’s Diploma in Accounting is recognized for entry into Year 2 of the Under-graduate degree from UK which is offered at Kasturi College.

Admission

SPM, ‘O’ Level or any other equivalent qualifications. Minimum three (3) credits with at least a pass in English and Mathematics.

Teaching and Assessment

Teaching is mainly through lectures, tutorials, discussions, presentations and practical computer laboratory classes.

MPW Subjects

All Malaysian students must pass a module each in each of these subjects:

	Malaysian Studies
	Moral Studies (Non-Muslims) / Islamic Studies (Muslims)
	Bahasa Kebangsaan (excempted if a credit in BM has been obtained at SPM level)

Programme Pathways

Upon completion of the diploma programme, students may choose to continue their education and gain advanced entry into The University of Wales, undergraduate degree, majoring in Accounting & Finance. The Diploma in Accounting also serves as a starting point for those who wish to enter the profession immediately.
