DIPLOMA in COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

This Diploma is designed to churn out students into capable professionals needed in the information technology arena. Students will be exposed to JAVA programming, VB.net, HTML, J2ME, Java Scripting as well as networking and business communication. The delivery mode of this Diploma is not merely from an Academic point of view, but instead the programme adopts a holistic approach, preparing the students to progress into the workforce equipped with current and updated knowledge.

*Students undertake a 3 month industry internship to extend their practical skills and will be exposed to real life projects.

Admission

SPM, ‘O’ Level or any other equivalent qualifications. Minimum three (3) credits with at least a pass in English and Mathematics.

Teaching and Assessment

Teaching is mainly through lectures, tutorials, discussions, presentations and practical computer laboratory classes.

MPW Subjects

All Malaysian students must pass a module each in each of these subjects:

	Malaysian Studies
	Moral Studies (Non-Muslims) / Islamic Studies (Muslims)
	Bahasa Kebangsaan (excempted if a credit in BM has been obtained at SPM level)

Programme Pathways

Upon completion of this programme, students can progress to Partners Universities, in Malaysia and abroad, to complete their undergraduate studies.
